Pro Am Race Competition - Terms & Conditions
1. To enter you must be: 18 years old or over and eligible to travel to the Volvo Ocean Race Abu Dhabi Stopover on 1st January 2015.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) is not responsible for visa requirements at any stage of the journey.
4. Flights, Accommodation and transportation to the Destination Village will not be awarded as part of the competition prize.
5. Through Visit Abu Dhabi sign up mechanism, TCA Abu Dhabi will randomly select the winner.
6. For the duration that the winner is on the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing yacht they are automatically covered under existing insurance, but at all other times (when not on the yacht) insurance needs to be arranged by the competition winner and TCA Abu Dhabi accepts no liability for damage, injury, delays or any incidents arriving from force majeure and/or acts of God.
7. Subscribing to our newsletter is not proof that we have received your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
8. The closing date is as specified, and TCA Abu Dhabi reserves the right to amend the competition’s terms and conditions including the end date at any time.
9. If you win the competition, we will notify you by telephone, direct message and/or e-mail. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as TCA Abu Dhabi may require.
11. Any information provided by participants is fully owned by TCA Abu Dhabi, and the participants have no right to claim otherwise.
12. The competition winner – whether domestic or non-domestic resident - will be decided upon by TCA Abu Dhabi randomly, and at the TCA Abu Dhabi’s sole discretion. The participants have no right to criticise or evaluate the judges’ decision.
13. The prize will not be transferable to another person.
14. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
15. TCA Abu Dhabi reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. TCA Abu Dhabi may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
16. TCA Abu Dhabi will endeavour to arrange prize claims within a fortnight of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.
17. Participation in this competition will be at the sole risk of the participants, and TCA Abu Dhabi accepts no responsibility of whatsoever nature in relation thereto.
18. TCA Abu Dhabi reserves the right to cancel this competition at any time for any reason.
19. The final judgement and decision shall be at the sole discretion of TCA Abu Dhabi and the participants have no right to claim otherwise.
