Home to a full range of sailing vessels, from beginner’s Toppers and seasoned-veteran’s catamarans to traditional Arabian dhows, Abu Dhabi is a great destination for those wanting to learn the basics to sailors wanting to push themselves to the limits.

  • Abu Dhabi Sailing & Yacht Club

    Playing host to the Volvo Ocean Race Abu Dhabi Stopover this Royal Yacht Association (RYA) accredited club has its own 100 metre long beach on the Corniche breakwater, and offers boat rental, Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking and rowing classes.

  • Watercooled Watersports

    Based at the Hiltonia Beach Club, the company offers a wide range of on and under water activities including dinghy sailing Hobie Catamaran, stand up paddle boards, windsurfers, kayaks, water-skiing, wake boarding, Zap Cat thrill rides, towed inflatables and fishing trips.

  • Western Marine Sports Club

    Based at the Mirfa Hotel, visitors to Al Gharbia’s first specialist watersports service with a purpose-built dive centre can enjoy a wide range of marine sports and activities.

  • Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club

    The club supports a wide range of marine sports, including powerboats, jet skis, sailing, kayaking, wakeboarding and waterskiing. The club plays host to the UIM Formula One Powerboat Race and organises many events that encourage young Emiratis to remain close to their marine heritage.

  • Sir Bani Yas Island, Desert Islands Watersports Centre

    This centre offers sailing lessons and sunset cruises, as well as diving expeditions and certification. There are also numerous kayaking routes and the waters around the island offer a wide variety of marine life allowing remarkable snorkelling.
