End and Begin the year Abu Dhabi style
We really pushed the boat out for our last stopover and this time we’re going overboard! We’re planning a massive 23-day festival of sport, heritage family fun and live entertainment. Over 175,000 visitors are expected at the event between 12th December 2014 and 3rd January 2015. Will you be among them?
We’ve doubled the size of our ‘Destination Village’ on Abu Dhabi’s Corniche breakwater. It will now host a garden hospitality area, open air cinema, exciting Volvo Ocean Racing activations, interactive exhibitions, beach sports and fitness, boutique booths, live entertainment, free concerts, a kids zone with paid stay and play facilities, cafés and restaurants and so much more.
The Destination Village is open from 12pm till 9pm during the week and from 11am till midnight on Thursday and weekends with fun and activities for all ages throughout every day.
Come along and you’ll get the chance to see the Volvo Ocean Race yachts and teams up close and all the spectacular In-Port Race action!
